The Assiniboine River

While in Manitoba, Divinity and I spent time relaxing on the shore of  the Assiniboine River which runs through Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

Taking a Drink

After a long walk, Divinity refreshed herself with a drink of cool, clean water.

Having been a puppy-mill mama for nine years, it is unlikely Divinity had ever been to a beach, and it is even less likely she had gone for a swim.  Divinity enjoyed every moment.

shellfishing

Feeling refreshed, Divinity did some shellfishing.

Going for a swim

After an appropriate time resting after her snack, Divinity went for a swim.
