Update: Tink, Divinity, and the rescue of the 12 Holiday Confections

I’ve learned that along with the 12 Cairn Terrier’s the Col. Potter volunteers rescued during November 2008, that these same volunteers also rescued about 20 Basset Hounds from the same puppy-mill.

This event occurred during the rescue of the 12 Cairn’s when the puppy-mill owner said he would shoot the hounds if the volunteers from Col. Potter didn’t take them. After hearing the owners statement, the volunteers agreed. The group called for additional help and completed the rescue. These dogs were turned over to a Basset Hound rescue.
