This weeks Senior Sunday post focus’ on Monkey’s House in Burlington County, New Jersey.
From the Monkey’s House website
Monkey’s House is a sanctuary providing hospice care to senior dogs who, through no fault of their own, are homeless in their senior years. We differ from other rescues because our primary mission is not to adopt out dogs, but to provide all the care and love they need for however long they have.
Our 6-acre farm in Burlington County, NJ houses the facilities which the Monkey’s House dogs call home. Providing a loving home environment for these animals is a critical component of their care, and something we take pride in here at Monkey’s House.
Previous sanctuary posts
Previously, I’ve posted about three other sanctuaries: House with a Heart in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Bob’s House for Dogs in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and the Grey Muzzle Rescue & Sanctuary in Eastsound, Washington.

Seniors have a lot to offer, we just need to be willing to watch, listen, and learn… (Divinity’s Dad, 2012)
Note: Please share this post on your social media so that others can learn about these wonderful senior dogs. It’s the only way to spread the word about these seniors who need homes.
